How you can fix your body first
The Illusion of Cause
The Illusion of Cause
Your brain invents unchangeable childhood stories to explain, say, 12 hour sleep.
That story leaves you helpless because the past cannot be edited.
Oversleep and morning dread are usually health problems not trauma.
Get blood work, train, eat clean, and take morning sun.
Fix the body and the old excuse often fades.
Your brain is excellent at inventing reasons you cannot change.
A student who sleeps 13 hours blames morning fights from childhood.
That explanation feels deep and it also traps you.
You cannot rewrite your parents.
You can rewrite your body.
People with worse childhoods still wake with energy when they train, eat, and live like athletes.
You are not tired because you are traumatized.
You keep rehearsing trauma because you are tired, underfed, and unused.
Ask if you lift, play a sport, work hard, and study how light and food move mood.
Try morning sun, evening dim light, better food, and a real training block.
Ten years of talking will not make you love the alarm if your health is broken.
Action on the physical side is what dissolves the story.
Assignment:
Get blood work, train hard every day, fix diet and sunlight, and notice if the helpless childhood reason still feels true.
