How you can tame anxiety with one question
Taming Anxiety

Ask what you can do now about that worry.

Nothing? Let it go.

Something? Act for 30 minutes.

Only think what changes today.

Anxiety turns into action.

You feel anxiety about something that already happened or might happen later.

Ask yourself what you can do about it this moment.

If the honest answer is nothing then let the feeling go.

You cannot reverse a choice from five years ago.

You cannot prevent every possible future disaster.

If you can take one step today then take that step now.

Give yourself thirty minutes to search, call or plan.

When the time is up the anxiety has usually left.

Only think about actions that change today.

Focus on the present to find peace.

Assignment:

Ask what you can do about this right now.

If nothing is possible release the thought.

If action is possible, spend thirty minutes on the first step.
